Overview

Coffee In Cup offers brewing guides, recipes, a saved-recipe feature, and an AI brew recipe tool. The information involved depends on which features you use. Browsing the guides does not require you to create an account.

Information you choose to provide

The newsletter form asks for a first name and email address. The contact form asks for a name, email address, subject and message. At present, neither form is connected to an email service: submitting one does not subscribe you or deliver a message to us. Do not rely on these forms to contact us until they are connected.

Saved recipes and browser storage

When you save a recipe, its identifier is kept in your browser's local storage so you can find it again on that device. It is not synced to an account. You can remove saved recipes using the site or clear this site's local storage in your browser.

AI brew recipes

When you request a personalized brew recipe, your coffee amount, brewing method, serving details and any taste preference you enter are sent to an AI service to generate the response. Avoid putting personal or sensitive information in the optional taste field. The recipe is displayed in your browser; this site does not offer an account or a saved history of AI requests.

External services and links

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and may link to social sites or retailers. When you follow an external link, that destination handles your visit under its own privacy policy. If affiliate or analytics services are added later, this policy should be updated to identify them and explain their use. See our affiliate disclosure.

Cookies and your choices

You can control browser storage and cookies in your browser settings. Disabling local storage may prevent saved recipes from working. Read our cookie policy for more information; it is also a draft and should be checked against any services added before launch.
